Pitcher Ben Sheets, of the Milwaukee Brewers, will start for the NL. The batting order, consisting of the nine players voted in by the fans, will be as follows: 1. Hanley Ramirez, Florida ? SS 2. C Hurdle, addressing the media beside Sheets, insists that the NL will try to end their recent All-Star Game slide. ?We are not going to play for a tie,? he said referring to the 2002 All-Star Game held in Milwaukee (ended in a 7-7 tie). ?We all want to win the championship ring, and this game gives you a better chance to win,? he added. Sheets expressed his gratitude towards Hurdle for naming him the starter in what could go down in history as the most-memorable All-Star Game in history. ?I?ve never been to Yankee Stadium, so I?m just going to try to take it all in,?
