Tiger Stadium is coming down, but officials in Detroit claim that the historic baseball field with remain intact, according to The Associated Press.
An official says the playing field will remain intact after the park's demolition. He says the foul poles and flagpole also will be preserved, as well.
The final major league game was played there Sept. 27, 1999.
