Babe Ruth would be okay with the Yankees' decision to tear down "The House That Ruth Built" and build a new stadium, according to a report in The Hartford Courant.

"Time moves on," Ruth's daughter Julia Ruth Stevens, 91, said Saturday at Yankee Stadium. "I guess they have explained to me that the aisles being so narrow, so many people, that it's really becoming dangerous, so they felt the new stadium was in order. I guess he would probably say, 'Well, if that's the case, so be it.'"

Ruth hit 659 of his 714 home runs as a Yankee.

"He felt like it was his second home," she said. "He loved the Yankee Stadium, and he loved coming every single day to play ball."
