An MRI arthrogram of Zambrano's right shoulder revealed no damage to the labrum or rotator cuff and only a minor muscle strain. "The MRI was good news," General Manager Jim Hendry said. "The two worrisome parts of the shoulder are the labrum and the rotator cuff, and they're in very, very good shape for a man who has pitched as many innings in the big leagues as he has the last six, seven years." Still, Zambrano is expected to be placed on the disabled list and will miss his next two starts. |
