Cardinals' starter Chris Carpenter will seek a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews on Monday regarding his injured right elbow, according to The St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The team has yet to confirm the findings of an examination performed on Friday by club doctor George Paletta.
