Tigers' Manager Jim Leyland has announced that Ivan Rodriguez and Brandon Inge will split time at catcher, according to The Detroit Free Press.

"Sometimes less is better. I'm not saying he's tired. I hope this will keep him a little fresher and give Inge some at-bats. I think it will work out pretty good for us," Leyland said of Pudge.

"I'm sure it doesn't make Pudge happy. He wants to play every day, and that's why you love Pudge."
