The Mariners could benefit most from dealing pitcher Erik Bedard this summer, according to The News Tribune. General Manager Bill Bavasi rolled the dice on Bedard this winter, but the deal hasn't paid dividends in Seattle so far in 2008. He hasn't been a bust, but he hasn't dominated either. The lefty is 4-4 this season with a 4.26 ERA and 56 strikeouts in 61.1 innings of work.
