Padres' starter Jake Peavy was 'rusty' in a simulated game on Saturday but will probably still start for the team against the Dodgers on Thursday, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune.

"I just didn't throw many good pitches," Peavy said of the appearance.

Peavy has reportedly recovered from an elbow strain, and Manager Bud Black said his ace probably will come off the disabled list to start against the Dodgers on Thursday.
