Detroit starting pitcher Jeremy Bonderman will likely miss the rest of the season after undergoing a series of procedures to remove a blood clot, according to The Asbury Park Press.
Bonderman was examined Friday at the Detroit Medical Center, the team said in a statement, and it was determined he has a "blood clot of the axillary vein due to thoracic outlet compression syndrome."
