Jorge Posada could return to the lineup for the Yankees on either Wednesday or Thursday, according to The New York Post.

He excelled in yet another extended spring training game on Tuesday, and he will re-join the team on Wednesday night.

"He caught seven innings. He threw a guy out," said Manager Joe Girardi, who also called Posada's arm "great."

Posada, who hasn't played since April 26, could be activated by the team before their game against the Blue Jays on Wednesday night.
