Chicago Cubs' second baseman Mark DeRosa said on Sunday that his team expects to be winning on a regular basis, according to The Daily Herald.

He likens the team to the Atlanta clubs he played on during the late 1990s - expecting to win everyday.

"I think we've reached that point -- at least I feel that way," DeRosa said. "I think we've got a good team. I think it's still early, but you've got to like the way we're playing. All our facets are doing well. Our lineup's deep, our starting pitchers are giving us quality innings, and our bullpen's been strong."

The Cubs are 37-21, 3.5 games ahead of St. Louis in the NL Central and held MLB's best record heading into Tuesday night.
