John Boggs, the agent for pitcher Mark Prior, said on Monday that the 27-year-old has vowed to pitch again despite a storied injury history, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune.

?He is determined to come back,? Boggs said Sunday. ?Has he given up? Hell, no. This surgery is indicative of his desire to get back on the mound.?

Prior sat out last season to allow his shoulder to repair but was unable to return to full strength this season.
