Gagné Returns As Closer In Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel - Eric Gagné's "mental break" didn't last very long as he returned to the role of closer for the Brewers on Tuesday night, according to The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Just two games ago he admitted that he doubted his ability to pitch in the ninth, but recorded his tenth save of the season against the Dodgers, his former team.

"It was a relief," Gagné said. "The fans were great. They tried to help me out there, and just a positive attitude from everybody."

The Brewers defeated the Dodgers 5-3 on Tuesday night. [READ]
