Nationals' reliever Chad Cordero will miss roughly a month of action with a tear in the muscle below his pitching shoulder, according to the Associated Press.
He left the team's win over the Braves on Tuesday when he felt pain after throwing a pitch.
He will miss four to six weeks after undergoing an MRI, but the team hasn't yet put him on the disabled list.
