Red Sox DH David Ortiz was out of the starting lineup Sunday with a bruised right knee, as reported by the Associated Press.

Ortiz was hurt while diving into first base in the final inning of Friday?s loss to Tampa Bay.

?He?s sore,? Red Sox Manager Terry Francona said.
