The New York Yankees have acquired Martin Prado from the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The 30-year-old was hitting .270/.317/.370 in 436 plate appearances. He is owed $11 million in both the 2015 and 2016 season.
Arizona will receive prospect Peter O'Brien and a player to be named later.
Marlins Acquire Jarred Cosart From Astros
The Miami Marlins have acquired Jarred Cosart from the Houston Astros.
Miami will also receive shortstop Enrique Hernandez and outfielder Jake Marisnick in the deal.
Houston gets top prospect Colin Moran as well as a compensation pick in next June's First-Year Player Draft.
Rays Trade David Price To Tigers
The Detroit Tigers have acquired David Price from the Tampa Bay Rays, according to a source.
The trade also involves the Seattle Mariners.
Seattle will receive Austin Jackson from Detroit, while Tampa Bay will acquire Nick Franklin (Mariners) and Drew Smyly (Tigers).
Jon Heyman tweets that no other players will go to or from the Mariners.
Ken Rosenthal is reporting that the Rays will also acquire minor-league shortstop Willy Adames from the Tigers.

The move could make room for Boston to move Xander Bogaerts back to shortstop.
